Hey There

Originally from Northern Virginia…

And graduated from Coastal Carolina University (Go Chants!) I moved to Charlotte, NC with my now husband, Matt in 2011 and we have since both fallen in love with this city.  We love eating out at all the new neighborhood hot spots and grabbing a beer or two from a local brewery. We lived right outside uptown for a couple of years until we bought our first home in Oakhurst, a cute little 1950’s ranch home that had been newly remodeled. It was small but it had so much charm, we were less than 15 minutes from everything and the neighborhood was really up and coming at the time (2016). After we had our daughter, Hazel, in 2017 we found the need for more space. As much as we loved our first home, we made the decision to move to the burbs. We have been here for a little over 2 years and now we love it here too. There is a wonderful sense of community in our neighborhood and we are just a 25-minute drive into the city, which I make a point to visit regularly!

I started photography mostly because of my interest and love for capturing beautiful things in everyday life. I’m so grateful to have found a passion where I can learn and grow while expressing my creativity. Charlotte has been such an inspiration to me. I have worked behind and beside some incredible women entrepreneurs in my lifetime and their same passion, tenacity and determination is so inspiring and is exactly what I want my daughter to see in me. I want to be an exceptional role model to her and what better way to show her that than to build a career that I am proud of and passionate about. In 2019, I made the leap into making my business official and now here we are! I still have so much to learn but I am having so much fun while doing it and I have already met some amazing people. I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years (and hopefully more) hold for me and my business.

Now that you know me a little bit better, I would love to get to know you! If you think I may be able to help tell the story about how you’ve perfected your craft, document your next event or take frame-able precious moments with you and your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

xx Heather 🙂
