Made it another circle around the sun ☀️ 🥳 Made it another circle around the sun ☀️ 🥳 . . . & this year it was all about me! Finding myself, figuring out what brings me joy and makes me feel whole. What lights me up and what drains me, how I was created to BE, what my purpose here truly is and what matters to me most. It’s been an AHmazing year, lots of courage and faith - I’ve learned so much about myself - mostly though that my journey will forever continue to evolve and change. I am aware of that now, my eyes are up and there’s no going back! I love the bright neutrals and soft blue in this p I love the bright neutrals and soft blue in this primary bedroom - but do you anything strange about the last image? . . . . If you guessed the chaise lounge - you were right! ✨April Wins + Gratitudes✨ - Started the month ✨April Wins + Gratitudes✨ - Started the month off strong with the most incredible women’s retreat! I made lifelong memories with new friends, I got to hug and BE with friends I’d not yet met in person 🥹, ate food that tasted divine and learned so much from @kellybrock @britnieturner - all while being in one of the absolute most beautiful places on earth @theaerialbvi - hard to top this. 🏝️ - Spent our spring break in Kiawah, SC (another beautiful place on earth) with our family & Bennett decided he wanted to visit the MUSC children’s ER before we left 🫠 {he’s totally fine and that hospital is wonderful} 🙏🏼 - Celebrated our sweet Hazel turning 6! ✨ - Photographed my first showhouse spaces with my fav @indigopruitt - she’s on 🔥 y’all! - Had my work printed in two local publications @southparkmagazine & @charlottemag (3!!) separate and beautiful features with @cashionhilldesign & @indigopruitt 🙌🏼 - The kids passports were delivered earlier than expected for Portugal next month ✈️! - Stepped into a beautiful new online community that I’m excited to be a part of with @theleahnicolewiggs - Spent more intentional time with my babies and my Hubs 🤍🤍 Heading into May with clarity and intention and a whole lot of grounding. Let’s talk styling! 🍋🌱📸 I have learned Let’s talk styling! 🍋🌱📸 I have learned a ton about styling shoots since diving into interior photography a few years ago. A lot I’ve learned in part by watching @kendrasurface at work - she’s incredibly talented at what she does and she makes my job so much easier when we get the opportunity to work together! There’s a great deal that goes into composing & styling a photo. Just looking at this particular image: the greenery you choose, the sizes and colors of glasses and bowls, the textures and placement of styling props can elevate your spaces & my imagery so much - seriously! It’s why I will always tell my clients about the importance of a stylist & if you are able to hire one, you will never regret it.
